A travelling troubadour  from who knows where, his only surfire trait is that he's of that contridictory race, homo sapiens sapiens.  He's carefree, cheerful, optimistic, occasionally silly, and just a little idiotic.  There is more to him. though.

The only reason Cirrus knows her at all is because she works at the library.  Kinda sad considering what it states about Cirrus's social life.  Usually steadfast and stable, but smitten in the presense of Nellius.

Was never in color, but his DOES have a white robe about him...
A member of the Militia, an order of mages that governs Shel.  He hates his job, though.  For hidden, more likely stylistic reasons, he covers his right eye with his hair.  He was dead, but now is alive again.  Yay!

The elegant lady with light-colored spiky hair in the flowing dress (Whoo!  Spiky hair!)
Cirrus's older sister.  They don't look alike, since she takes after one parent and he takes after  the other.  To most people, she's a polite, intelligent, wise young lady.  To Cirrus, she's an annoying, perfectionist, bossy older sister.

The stern, important-looking bishonen with that white shock of hair
The dutiful and dedicated leader of the Militia.  Once he formulates a theory, he sticks to it absolutely, regardless of the theory's valicity.  Very suspicious of nonchalant visitor bards and the wizards who befriend them.

Maxil's grandfather, and the former head of the Militia.  It's obvious Maxil inherited his sense of duty and suspicion of nonchalant visitor bards from him.

The scary black-feathered, fire-breathing, magic-resistant, name-mispelled giantic lion/eagle hybrid!
The would-be destroyer of Shel, but not by choice (It's just lost and hungry!).  Its origins are completely unknown.  It's gone now, back to where it was summoned from.  It is capable of mass destruction and havoc, and little else.

The teenaged entity of great power in regal airy clothing
Fifty years ago, she appeared near Shel and nearly destroyed the town in a fit of adolescent fury.  The powerful genie was bound to three trees as a result.  Freed by Ira, she was utilized to reverse the damage of the griffon.
